LET'S HAVE A COMPARISION BETWEEN PAKISTAN'S AND BRITAIN'S TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

When comparing the two countries' transportation infrastructure, It is clear that Britain's is much stronger than Pakistan's.

When it’s come to the third-strongest transportation system in the world, The UK contains the largest train network, underground rail and metro networks, high-speed train services offered by Eurostar, comfortable buses and coaches, and affordable aircraft. In less than two hours, It does not just connect towns and cities throughout the nation, but also continents. The best thing is that cycling is fairly common in the UK and is a great way to travel within a town or city, save money, and stay in shape. In Pakistan, however, land transportation mainly comprises train and road transportation. The Ministry of Railways in Pakistan is in charge of overseeing the provision of rail services. It carries out extensive freight and human movement. Yellow taxis, whose fares are negotiable and are most frequently seen at hotels and airports, are another widely used mode of transportation. In practically all of Pakistan, auto rickshaws and the Qing-Qi, a vehicle that combines an auto rickshaw with a motorcycle, are prominent. Another mode of transportation in Pakistan is the motorcycle. It is thought to be the quickest method of accessing locations that are inaccessible to cars. There are 151 airports in Pakistan. Additionally, Pakistan has 18 heliports. Pakistan's waterway system is nascent, with Karachi being the only significant city located near the Arabian Sea.

Although the roads in the UK are relatively good, they could be narrow and crowded in urban areas. However, everything is handled so well because of the administration's policies for improving transportation. Numerous safety precautions improve the situation. like, the UK punishes for driving under the influence of even minor amounts of alcohol or drugs. Using a hand-held cell phone or a comparable device while operating a motor vehicle is also prohibited. On highways and motorways, the top speed restriction is 70 mph. Additionally, the educated gentry benefits the system. On the other hand, there are numerous risks associated with travel in Pakistan. The number of cars on the roads is high, many huge trucks and buses are poorly maintained, and drivers are usually aggressive and uneducated. In some places, roadside hazards can include camels, cattle, horse carts, and donkeys. Roads, including most major highways, also suffer from poor maintenance and often have numerous potholes, sharp drop-offs, and barriers that are not sign-posted. When driving at night, drivers should drive very carefully because many cars lack sufficient lighting or dimmers, and most roads are not properly lit or signposted. It is not advised to drive without knowledgeable local drivers or guides. The management is also unsatisfactory.

Where, according to a new analysis from the U.K. government innovation agency, In the next nine years, we will see futuristic air taxis that have been the stuff of science fiction, "revolutionary new aircrafts".   Pakistan is only thinking about how to cut back on its use of fuel since the cost of petrol is so high. To solve this issue, they propose to implement electronic technology-driven transportation, although no headway has been made in this planning as of yet.

In my opinion, the immediate actions that management should consider include the Elimination of ching-chee, an auto-rickshaw, from the transportation network. fewer and more well-placed stops on the street should be set up. Enhancement of vehicle designs should be in top priority Controlling public transportation operations; enhancing planning for public transportation, and giving customers reliable information is crucial equally. Cutting down on wait times at traffic lights would please customers and saves money. Providing designated lanes for public transportation, managing traffic through rules and traffic engineering, and using creative solutions to lessen the effects of traffic on public transportation are necessary. Introduction to the public bicycle systems and arrangement for the Cycling lanes will contribute a lot. parking management and pricing options go side by side with every measure.

IF I HAD BILLIONS TO GIVE AWAY

A very common picture enters our minds whenever we consider the possibility that one day, we might find ourselves in the position of a billionaire; to some extent, this is natural. We decide on the spur of the moment that we'll travel the world, invest in high-end luxury vehicles, and construct elegant homes. But if Allah grants us such wealth, have we ever wondered about what He will require of us in return? Furthermore, pursuing objectives that just benefit and satisfy us will never bring Allah's pleasure or give us the fulfillment we seek; only pursuing objectives that benefit and please others will do so.

If ever Allah blesses me with such wealth, my primary goal will be to change the system in Pakistan through education. That aims to increase morals in people, build their character, improve their well-being, and help people gain ethics for a healthy society. In Pakistan, I noticed that due to unfulfilled basic needs, people don’t think outside the box. So, I would like to bring them out of the situation. When people get unraveled and smooth their minds from their internal basic affairs, they will start to be concerned about the country’s position Insha’Allah. I’m disparately waiting for the day when I will see that the country is in good hands now. For this, it is necessary to bring awareness to individuals about how they can contribute to Pakistan from their respective domains. This is only possible when we change the mentality of people here. To change the mentality, we have to enlighten their minds with the teachings of Islam. We have to put it in their minds that they are here for a purpose. And one's purpose in life should be to live mindfully and passionately, spread love and kindness, and be philanthropic.

Therefore, if I had billions to give away, I would utilize them for my nation's and its citizens' welfare. We will need numerous resources to build a society like this. I won't be able to complete this all on my own. However, I would find it fascinating to take part in this. I, therefore, ask Allah to provide me the capability to assist the people and gain their esteem.

Financial Condition of PAKISTAN

The Financial state of Pakistan is perceivable to anyone who comprehends. It is sad to say that relying on the assistance of others has always been the focal point of Pakistan's economical management system. Since 1950, Pakistan has availed 22 bailouts from IMF. This corrupt diplomacy of borrowing from foreign lenders and friendly countries led to a steep rise in debt approximately $248.7 Bn which is 80.2 pc of the GDP of Pakistan. Real disappointment commences when authorities, even after getting loans, never invest in Human development projects which results in substandard human resources. They never financed long-term Technological and Industrial development projects and as a consequence industrial development is almost zero and Pakistan became a major importing economy. The economy is primarily agriculture-based with a massive lack of evolution in a sector. PAK budget is not enough to unlock further IMF loans, IMF refused and imposed strict conditions also. Now government set new tax measures aimed at increasing revenue collections. According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased to an all-time high of 187.84 points in august 2022. Necessities, transportation, food, electricity everything is quite expensive. Continuous Rupee depreciation against the Dollar worsens GDP. Furthermore, the current situation made Foreign Investors reluctant since the country has been devasted by the outburst of floods, and risks of declining payment capacity are increased in the country which results in a slowdown in the inflows of FDI. Here are some exact facts and figures reflecting the current financial condition.

The country's stability includes Human Resources, Natural Resources, Industrial and Technological Development, Capital Formation, and Socio-Political Factors. These all are equally crucial. In my opinion, Government should have to focus more on the geo-economy instead of geopolitics. They should have to invest in education instead of spending major GDP on arms and ammunition. The constant rift between the regime of military and civilian government is spoiling the country's stability from day one. This must be halted now.
